We are a diverse group of Europe wide civil society networks, social movements and NGOs covering among others trade unions, global justice groups, environmental groups, development groups, farmers’ movements, faith-based groups, and anti-poverty groups based in different European countries who – back in January 2009 – started to organise the “European Cross-networking Space on the global crises”. In this space we analyse collectively the current crises, develop joint strategies and discuss joint demands and alternatives in response to these crises, as we are aware that our work and efforts at the national level need to be complemented by joint Europe-wide action.
