An estimated 10,000 people took to the streets of Brussels today to 'welcome' Donald Trump on his first visit to the city – and Europe – after the US election.

Mr. Trump, who had called the city a 'hellhole' while campaigning in 2016, was greeted by a huge coalition of individuals and groups denouncing his dangerous climate policies, devastating rollbacks of social and environmental protections, misogyny, Islamophobia, racism and more.

This Saturday, activists around the world will unite, and march against Monsanto. Opposition has been mounting to the Bayer-Monsanto mega-merger, Friends of the Earth Europe even staged a 'marriage made in hell' outside the European Commission headquarters in Brussels.
